Here's a brand you don't hear about too often - manufactured mainly for the SE Asian market and mainly available in Thailand, Burma and China, OP (Olym Pianus) are known chiefly for their Rolex style designs. This one is no exception but is equipped with good sized tubes and no premium for blue tubes at 3, 6, 9 and 12! The case finish on this is superb at this price point and is, dare I say it not far off that of the watch on which it is based. Bezel action is tight and precise with no slop. Superb value for money. Note that this isn't a dive watch per se, but styled as such.

This is the latest Seiko Monster. A Thai Limited Edition (there have been others of course including the sought after Yellow Monster and the Blue Monster). This one was launched at the Bangkok Watch Fair in August 2007 and has become known as the Red Devil locally. Upgrades include the use of the 7S36B movement and a sapphire crystal with cyclops lens.

A great sports watch with inky black dial and fantastic legibility. lightly more svelte in dimensions than the Seiko SKX series and will take a standard 20mm strap. This Citizen utilises a case design that has been around for some time. Reasonably proportioned at 38mm across the bezel, it makes a great sports watch which can be worn on all occasions given the 200m WR rating and screw down crown. This white dial version is very legible and the blue/red bezel sets off the whole design nicely.

Rare in the UK, this Citizen dive watch looks extremely similar to its automatic cousin, the NY0040 series. However, this one has the crown at the 3 position and is of course quartz. For those who prefer the precision and lack of intervention that a quartz diver gives, this is ideal. This one features the inky black dial that makes the automatic version so popular.
